1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you complete our Register Interest form, book a consultation, contact us by phone or email, or submit a form through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement, we may collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your phone number (where provided)

  • The student's school year and level (Higher or Ordinary)

  • Any other information you choose to include in a message to us

Information about students. Where you enrol a student in lessons, we may hold the student's first name, school year, subject level, and notes relating to their academic progress. This information is provided by a parent or guardian and is used solely to deliver tutoring services.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect standard technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring website. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing purposes.

3. Children's privacy

Our services are provided to students who are typically under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 16. Enquiries, bookings and registrations must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent on the student's behalf.

Where we hold information about a student, it is limited to what is necessary to deliver lessons. A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information at any time using the contact details above.

4. Who we share information with

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the business. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own data protection obligations:

  • Squarespace — website hosting, form submissions and scheduling

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) — advertising, and lead forms submitted directly within those apps

  • Google — website analytics and, where applicable, search advertising

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We may also disclose information where required to do so by law.

5. How long we keep your information

  • Enquiries that do not result in lessons: up to 12 months, then deleted

  • Active students: for the duration of lessons and up to 2 years afterwards, so that we can respond to follow-up requests

  • Financial records: retained for 6 years, as required by Irish tax law

  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These include cookies necessary for the site to function, analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site, and advertising cookies used by Meta and Google to measure the performance of our ads and to show relevant advertising.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Have inaccurate data corrected

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Restrict or object to how we process your data

  • Receive your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including restricted access to records, secure passwords, and reputable service providers.
